Florence, Ky. - It was just a normal offseason day at UC Health Stadium as the Freedom staff continued to prepare for a Y'All-Star season.
Amidst the beautiful sunny sky on this Tuesday afternoon a large present appeared outside the gates to the stadium with no indication as to who it was from, but only a tag that read "Don't Open Until March 26."
March 26 also coincides with the City of Florence Easter Egg Hunt. Curious like we are? We can't wait to see what could be inside!
Be there to witness the present opening at the Easter egg hunt, which will feature pictures with costumed characters beginning at 11:00 a.m., followed by the egg hunt at noon.
Those who can't make it to UC Health Stadium on March 26 can stay tuned to the Florence Freedom's Twitter and Facebook for the latest news, including the present opening.
The Florence Freedom are members of the 12-team professional Independent Frontier League and play a 96 game schedule, with 48 home games at UC Health Stadium, located at 7950 Freedom Way in Florence, Kentucky. In 2015, the Frontier League recognized the Freedom as the league's organization of the year and awarded the team with the league's All-Star event . The 2016 season will mark the 13th year the Freedom have played in Florence.
