August 3, 2013 - Carolina League (CarL1)
Carolina Mudcats News Release

Zebulon, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats want to see your mustached alter ego on Carlos Danger Night, Thursday, August 15th. Carlos Danger is the alter ego that former New York State Congressman Anthony Wiener used online and led to his now infamous scandal.

The Mudcats will be offering a discounted $5.00 box seat ticket to anyone that comes to the game against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans with a real or fake mustache. During the game, there will be a mustache contest as well as other promotions based on the alter ego theme.

Thursdays are also "Thirsty Thursdays" presented by Natty Greene's Brewing Company. 1 6-ounce domestic draft beers are $2.00 and 12-ounce Coca-Cola products are only $1.00.

The Mudcats face the Frederick Keys for the final time at Five County Stadium on Saturday night at 6:15 p.m. It is "Cancer Awareness Night" at the park. Members of Carolina's front office, field staff and players will shave their heads in an effort to raise money towards fighting childhood cancer. The Mudcats will also giveaway a Budweiser pint glass to the first 1,200 adults. Tickets are available by calling (919) 269-2287 or visiting carolinamudcats.com.
