Moose Re-Assign Taylor Ellington To Victoria

The Manitoba Moose today announced they have re-assigned defenceman Taylor Ellington to the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Ellington, 21, has appeared in 15 games with the Moose so far this season. In that span, he has collected three points (1g & 2a) along with seven penalty minutes. He scored his first AHL goal of the season during a 5-2 Moose victory March 29/10 @ Abbotsford. Last season, the left-handed defenceman appeared in one game with the Moose where he scored his first professional goal in his first professional game April 11/10 @ Lake Erie. The Victoria, BC native has also played in 47 games with the Salmon Kings this season where he has recorded 14 points (3g & 11a) and 49 penalty minutes.

Ellington was originally drafted by Vancouver in the second round, 33rd overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
