Moose Announce Extension of Broadcast Rights Agreement with TSN 1290

Winnipeg - The Manitoba Moose Hockey Club, in conjunction with TSN 1290, announced today an extension of their partnership that will see TSN 1290 continue to deliver comprehensive live radio coverage of the Moose through the 2020-21 American Hockey League season.

TSN 1290 will broadcast a total of 50 regular season games throughout the 2018-19 regular season. All 76 games will be available online at moosehockey.com/listenlive and through the Manitoba Moose App. Broadcasts of Moose games begin with a 15-minute pre-game show, and conclude with post-game analysis. Coverage of the 2018-19 campaign begins Friday, Oct. 5 when the Moose open their season in Iowa against the Wild.

Mitch Peacock returns for his fourth season calling Moose play-by-play. Peacock's hockey broadcasting background includes announcing games in the AJHL, BCHL, WHL and ECHL, as well as three seasons as host of Calgary Flames radio and four seasons as a rink-side reporter for Hockey Night in Canada. He also spent more than six years as a sports anchor with CBC, and had the opportunity to cover the Olympics with the network in 2014, 2016 and most recently at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
