Moncton Miracles Sign Explosive Combo Guard Dexter Strickland

The Moncton Miracles are happy to announce the signing of explosive combo guard Dexter Strickland.

Strickland is a six-foot-three combo guard out of the University of North Carolina. As a 4-year starter for UNC he averaged 7 points, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He finished the 2014-15 season with the Los Angeles Defenders (NBA D-League) where he averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 assists and 2 rebounds per game.

"Dexter comes from a very well known, high level program at UNC," said Coach Serge Langis. He has pro experience as well which is very important for us this season. He helps us solidify a priority of ours this season in our back court. We very much look forward to working with him."

The former McDonalds All American says he's very excited to be part of a new organization. "I've set high goals for myself and for the team this season. I'm looking forward to leading the team to a championship."

Dexter Strickland will arrive in Moncton for training camp which begins on December 14 at Crandall University.
