Left wing Bud Holloway (23-28=51) leads the Monarchs in points with 51 to his credit.

Holloway is the first Monarchs player to score 23 goals in a season since four different players did so for the 2007-08 Monarchs squad, as left wing Matt Moulson (28-28=56), right wing Teddy Purcell (25-58=83), center Gabe Gauthier (23-37=60) and right wing David Meckler (23-13=36) accomplished that feat three years ago.

Holloway collected an assist during Friday's game against the Sharks, giving him 28 assists on the season, tying him for the team lead with defenseman Viatcheslav Voynov (13-28=41).

Holloway has 12 points (6-6=12) in his last nine games.

Left wing Dwight King (20-22=42), center Oscar Moller (17-25=42) and center Justin Azevedo (16-26=42) are tied for second place on the Monarchs in points with 42 each.

King's eight game point streak was snapped on Sunday, February 27 against Worcester when he was held off of the scoreboard. Prior to last Sunday's match-up, King recorded 11 points (6-5=11) in those eight games beginning on February 12 against the Sound Tigers.

King is tied with right wing Brandon Kozun (20-21=41) for second on the Monarchs in goal scoring with 20 tallies.

Moller's game-winning overtime goal on Friday against Worcester gave his six winning tallies on the season to tie him with Azevedo for fourth place in the AHL.

Moller has eclipsed his previous career-high of 15 goals, as he has accumulated 17 markers during the 2010-11 campaign.

Azevedo has collected 12 points (3-9=12) in his last nine games.

Voynov has recorded 41 points (13-28=41) this season, placing him in a tie for fifth place with Kozun on the Monarchs squad.

Voynov's 41 points also tie him for sixth overall in the AHL among blueliners in points.

Voynov's 13 goals are tied for the league lead among defensemen.

Voynov also leads the Monarchs squad with a plus-17 rating.

Kozun is in the midst of a seven-game point streak, as he has recorded five goals and seven assists for 12 points (5-7=12).

Kozun has recorded nine goals and nine assists for 18 points (9-9=18) in his last 12 games, dating back to February 11 against Portland.

Kozun garnered Reebok/AHL Rookie of the Month honors for February on Tuesday, as he recorded eight goals and seven assists for 15 points (8-7=15) in 13 games for the Monarchs during the month.

Center Corey Elkins (16-20=36) collected two goals against Worcester on Sunday, February 27, giving him 36 points on the season. Elkins is ranked seventh on the Monarchs in points.

Elkins was assessed a game misconduct during the second period of Friday's game in Worcester when he jumped into a fight. He was sent to the dressing room for being the third man in.

Center Marc-Andre Cliche (14-18=32), with an assist in Sunday's game against the Checkers, places eighth on the Monarchs in points with 32.

Cliche, with 14 goals, has already eclipsed his previous career-highs of 11 goals, set in both the 2007-08 and the 2009-10 Monarchs seasons.

Center Andrei Loktionov (8-23=31) is ranked ninth on the Monarchs in scoring with 31 points.

Loktionov, recalled by the Los Angeles Kings on January 20, returned to the Monarchs line-up on Sunday, February 20. Skating in his first game at the Verizon Wireless Arena since his recent call up to the Kings, Loktionov suffered a shoulder injury on Friday, February 25 against the Sound Tigers. The second-year center had shoulder surgery in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 3 and is expected to be sidelined until training camp.

Loktionov recorded seven points (4-3=7) and two penalty minutes in 19 games with the Kings this season.

Left wing Richard Clune (8-14=22) is ranked third in the AHL with 216 penalty minutes.

Goaltender Martin Jones has played in 35 games with the Monarchs and has collected a record of 22-9-1 with a 2.31 goals-against average and a .923 save percentage.
