Monarchs Tender Eight Qualifying Offers

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced today that the team has tendered eight qualifying offers to players on their season-ending roster.

The eight players to receive offers are:

Michael Boivin, Robbie Donahoe, Joey Diamond, Matt White, Matt Leitner, Zac Larraza, Darik Angeli and Derek Arnold.

Seven of the players tendered qualifying offers played during the Kelly Cup Playoffs, including five of the top seven point scorers during the regular season in Diamond, Leitner, Boivin, Larraza and Arnold.

The qualifying offer must remain open for acceptance until Aug. 1 at which time the qualifying offer becomes null and void and the team may sign the qualified player to any salary or may elect to take no further action. Teams that extend a valid qualifying offer to a non-veteran player shall retain the rights to that qualified player for one playing season.
