Monarchs Announce Kelly Cup Playoff Roster

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations, Rich Seeley, announced the playoff roster for the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals, where the Monarchs will face-off against the Adirondack Thunder in a best-of-seven series beginning Wednesday, April 13 (7 p.m.) at the Verizon Wireless Arena.

The playoff roster includes 10 forwards, 8 defensemen and 2 goaltenders.

2016 Kelly Cup Playoff Roster:

Forwards: Darik Angeli, Mark Anthoine, Derek Arnold, Joe Diamond, Matt Fornataro, Maxim Kitsyn, Gasper Kopitar, Zac Larraza, Danick Paquette, Troy Power

Defensemen: Michael Boivin, Josh Brown, Robbie Donahoe, Alex Lintuniemi, Jacob Middleton, Alex Roach, Yann Sauvé, Craig Wyszomirski

Goaltenders: Doug Carr, Colin Stevens

The roster includes five players with ECHL playoff experience including: Kitsyn (23g), Kopitar (23g), Paquette (15g), Roach (19g) and Sauvé (4g). The Monarchs field a young team, as 11 players will make their ECHL playoff debuts.

The Monarchs will open the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals April 13 at 7 p.m. when they host the Adirondack Thunder at the Verizon Wireless Arena, and will host Game 2 of the series Friday, April 15 (7 p.m.) at the Jungle.
