Moise Pouaty Named to USL Team of the Week

Colorado Springs, CO - The United Soccer League officially announced today that Moise Pouaty was named to the Week 20 Team of the Week. Pouaty makes his first appearance of the 2017 campaign and marks the third straight week a Switchbacks player has made the Team of the Week (Masta Kacher - Week 19, Jordan Burt - Week 18).
Pouaty had a strong showing against Portland Timbers 2 in a 4-1 victory at Weidner Field last Saturday. Pouaty made five saves in the match including two penalty saves. His first penalty save came in the 37th minute against Villyan Bijev which is up for the USL Save of the Week. His second penalty save came against Omar Mohamed on the final kick of the game. The only goal Pouaty allowed was an own goal conceded in the 89th minute. Pouaty's five saves put him at 62 on the season ranking only behind Timbers 2's Kendall McIntosh.
