MLS Disciplinary Committee Suspends and Fines Colorado Rapids Defender Drew Moor

NEW YORK (March 28, 2013) - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Colorado Rapids defender Drew Moor one additional game and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct away from the play that endangered the safety of his opponent. In the 48th minute of the March 24 game, Moor's arm made contact with the face of LA Galaxy midfielder Marcelo Sarvas. The referee issued Moor a red card, which carries an automatic one game suspension and fine. Moor will serve a total suspension of two games - Saturday against Portland Timbers and Friday, April 6 against Real Salt Lake.
