MLL Players of the Week
It was another great week of MLL play, but there were a few standouts we'd like to congratulate. The Warrior Offensive Player of the Week is Chesapeake Bayhawks' Drew Westervelt for his spectacular play against New York including a career-high 8 goals. The Rochester Rattlers' John Galloway was once again dominant between the pipes allowing only one fourth quarter goal against the Boston Cannons and named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. Cascade's Rookie of the Week honors went to Denver Outlaws attack Eric Law who was impressive scoring 4 goals in his MLL debut. Ryan Flanagan Youth Tournament
MLL All-Star Weekend will bring plenty of lacrosse action to the Charlotte area this July. While the obvious highlight is the MLL All-Star Game presented by Moe's Southwest Grill, another featured event is the All-Star Game Youth Tournament. This is where kids will have the chance to interact with the MLL All-Stars themselves. This opportunity has been organized by Team 24/7, a Charlotte youth lacrosse program founded and run by Ryan Flanagan of the Charlotte Hounds.

Boston Cannons hire new coach
The Boston Cannons announced John Tucker as the team's new head coach. Tucker was hired as an assistant coach prior to the 2013 season and will take over in place of Steve Duffy as head coach for the remaining eight games of the season.
