MLL to Offer Virtual Reality Experience with Mandt VR

BOSTON - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier outdoor professional lacrosse league, announced today the Lax Sports Network will partner with MANDT VR to produce 360-degree video content that offers fans a virtual reality experience during the 2017 season.
"Any sports enthusiast can asset to the fact that the experience of watching a game live - taking in the atmosphere, bonding with other fans and seeing players up close - adds a level of interaction that isn't present when watching sports events on television," said Neil Mandt, founder and CEO of MANDT VR. "This partnership will hopefully marry both worlds, virtually giving fans unprecedented access to all the action of MLL games as well as immersive behind-the-scenes peeks at favorite teams and players."
The VR experience will debut at the Lax Sports Network booth during this year's US Lacrosse National Convention (Jan. 20-22, Baltimore, MD) and features faceoff specialist Greg "The Beast" Gurenlian demonstrating his faceoff technique. Fans will have an opportunity to see first-hand what it takes to square off against the record holder for the most faceoff wins in a single season in MLL history.
