MLL PARTNERS WITH GROUPMATICS FOR GROUP TICKET SALES MLL joins MLB and NBA on online group ticket sales platform
BOSTON - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier outdoor professional lacrosse league, announced today that Groupmatics will be the exclusive online group ticket sales partner of MLL starting in 2018.
"Group sales are a huge component in the growth of our league," MLL Commissioner David Gross said. "Our partnership with Groupmatics will help guide these efforts and to push our business forward. Every team in MLL will have access to the tools in Groupmatics."
Groupmatics provides an online platform that streamlines the group ticket sales process and helps sports teams better understand their customers. They have been working with teams in the NHL, MLB and NBA since the Cleveland-based company launched in 2012.
"We are thrilled to partner with Major League Lacrosse and bring our services to all teams," said Dan Badders, Senior Director of Business Development at Groupmatics. "The league has a great growth plan and that's what Groupmatics is all about, helping teams grow their group ticket business and uncover new revenue opportunities."
This past July, the platform underwent a major rebuild of its analytics and management portal to make the lives of group sales professionals even easier.
