April 25, 2013 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) News Release

BOSTON, Mass. (Thursday, April 25, 2013) - Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced a partnership today with the social network LiveCrowds to offer fans a suite of new social media tools specifically designed to enhance their experience before, during and after attending MLL games.

"We are thrilled to partner with LiveCrowds to connect MLL Fans to the events and teams they are so passionate about" says Major League Lacrosse Commissioner, David Gross. "MLL and LiveCrowds are bringing our fans together with a whole new level of experiences and content and the ability to share and remember their favorite games this season."

With LiveCrowds, MLL fans will be able to connect - online, through mobile devices and in person - in groundbreaking new ways. As part of the LiveCrowds community MLL fans can choose their favorite MLL teams to follow, select games they plan to attend, as well as see friends and other social contacts also attending the same events in order to plan pre-game meet ups. During the game, the LiveCrowds mobile app connects fans with in-game real-time contests for prizes and MLL fan experiences, live stats and more. The LiveCrowds personal page also allows users to keep a permanent online archive, including photos and videos, from every MLL game they attend.

"LiveCrowds is excited about the partnership with Major League Lacrosse," says John Yearout, CEO of LiveCrowds. "We look forward to giving MLL's incredibly passionate fans exciting new ways to connect, both with each other and the world-class lacrosse players that they all join together to support."

MLL fans can register for LiveCrowds and download the app for free at www.livecrowds.com.
