Pearl, MS - The Mississippi Braves return to Trustmark Park on Monday, June 22nd to take on the Birmingham Barons in a six-game series from Monday through Saturday. The Braves will attempt to avenge a five-game sweep at the hands of the Barons last week.

The Braves start the homestand on Monday, June 22nd with Dollar Dog Monday when all hot dogs, excluding foot longs, will be $1. It'll also be Military Monday when any member of any US Military Division can get field level seats for themselves and their families for only $2 per person. It's also Church Bulletin Monday when families can get half-priced field level seats by presenting a church bulletin. Mondays are also Chevron Bonus Monday when tickets are buy-one-get-one-free upon presentation of a Chevron credit card.

Tuesday will be Mississippi Department of Health Awareness Night. The following divisions will be on-site handing out literature and/or doing demonstrations for the fans: West Nile, Hand Washing, Tobacco Defense Program, VIPR - Volunteer Response Program, Immunization, School and Community Health, Safe Routes to School, Cardiovascular, Nutrition, PRAMS - Pregnancy Risks, Vital Records and Diabetes. It will also be Trustmark Bank Two for Tuesday when all seats, berm grass tickets, hot dogs, fountain drinks and popcorn will be two-for-one. Fans can also get buy-one-get-one tickets by redeeming one package wrapper of KRAFT singles at the Trustmark Park ticket office thanks to the Braves KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets offer.

On Wednesday, June 24th, the first 1,000 kids through the gates will receive a free Hank Aaron Educational Magazine. It will also be Alzheimer's Association Awareness Night and Kids Night at Trustmark Park when all children 14 and under will get field level seats for only $2 and Fun Zone wristbands for only $5. In addition, country music recording artist Trent Tomlinson will perform an acoustic set on the stage by the main entrance to Trustmark Park at 6:15 pm. He will also perform the National Anthem before the game.

Thursday night is Chick-Fil-A Promotional Night as well as Thirsty Thursday when all 16 oz. soft drinks and domestic draft beer will be sold for only $1. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a certificate redeemable for an 8-count of Chick-Fil-a Chicken Nuggets.

On Friday night, the first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free Mississippi Braves Baseball Bank. After the game, the Braves Friday Night Fireworks Extravaganza will delight those in attendance. Friday night's promotions are compliments of Entergy Nuclear.

The homestand comes to a close on Saturday night when the first 2,000 fans will receive a free Regulation Soccer Ball. It will also be Dairy Night and the always-entertaining Reggy will make an appearance, all compliments of SUDIA, Luvel Dairy, Dairy Fresh, Mississippi Farm Bureau and Q105.1. The M-Braves Silent Auction tables will be set up throughout the game where fans can bid on fabulous Braves memorabilia.

Tickets are available, but are sure to go fast. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Trustmark Park ticket office, the Mississippi Coliseum, Be-Bop Records in Jackson and Vicksburg, all Ticketmaster locations, online at www.mississippibraves.com or by phone at 601-932-8788. Fans can also call Ticketmaster to place their orders at 601-355-5252. There will be a $5 fee for all phone orders through the Braves ticket office.
