October 19, 2017 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

GLENVIEW, Ill. - The Chicago Wolves announced Thursday that center Wade Megan has been loaned to the club by the St. Louis Blues.

The American Hockey League's reigning goal-scoring champion, Megan skated in 73 games with the Wolves during the 2016-17 season and accrued 33 goals along with 66 points. He was voted an AHL First Team All-Star.

His AHL success allowed him to make his National Hockey League debut with St. Louis on Dec. 22 against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The 27-year-old scored in the 5-2 Tampa Bay victory.

With St. Louis this season, Megan appeared in one game before being placed on waivers on Wednesday when Alexander Steen was activated from injured reserve.

Megan will be available when the Wolves resume game action on Saturday, Oct. 21, against the Tucson Roadrunners as they make their debut at Allstate Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on CW50.
