Lincoln Stars News Release

Lincoln, Neb. - Twelve (12) Lincoln Stars alumni are set to play in the 2017 NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Tournament from March 24 - April 8.

Stars alumni will represent six (6) teams competing for a chance to play in the 2017 Men's Frozen Four from April 6-8 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

Below is a complete breakdown of Stars alumni participating in the tournament.

University of North Dakota

John Simonson | 2013-2014

Ludvig Hoff | 2013-2016

Chris Wilkie | 2011-2012

Ohio State University

Tanner Laczynski | 2015-2016

Christian Lampasso | 2013-2014

Miguel Fidler | 2014-2015

Penn State University

Trevor Hamilton | 2015-2016

Peyton Jones | 2015-2016

Western Michigan University

Cam Lee | 2014-2015

Mike McKee | 2011-2013

More than 250 USHL alumni are set to play in the tournament. More than 75% of the NHL Draft picks expected to play in the tournament also played in the USHL, including Tanner Laczynski (Philadelphia Flyers), Chris Wilkie (Florida Panthers) and Mike McKee (Detroit Red Wings).

Season tickets for the 2017-2018 season are now available by calling 402-474-7827. The final Select-A-Seat event of the regular season will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on March 25.
