Medford Falls in Game Three to Lodi

Medford, Oregon - Under blue skies at Harry and David Field, the Medford Rogues fell to the Lodi Crushers in game three, 6-4. The Rogues now sit a game behind the Marysville Gold Sox in the Great West League with a 14-6 record.

Lodi's record improves to 9-13 overall.

The Rogues struck first in the second inning off an RBI double by Brock Pradere and RBI single by Derron Davis. With Medford leading 2-0, the Crushers plated a run in the third and then took the lead in the fourth. Lodi led 3-2 until the eighth inning when the Rogues scored off another RBI single by Davis, bringing in Parker Kelly to tie the game. In the top of the ninth, Lodi plated two runs and held onto a 6-4 win in game three.

Dylan Pearce earned the start for the Rogues, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 9 hits and struck out 5 batters. Pearce's ERA now sits at 3.31. Tristan Duncan came in relief to pitch the rest of the game for Medford. Duncan went 2.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 4 hits and struck out three. Duncan now has a 4.50 ERA.

At the plate, Davis had a stand-out night going 3-for-4 with three RBIs. Davis improved his average to .364. Brock Pradere went 2-for-4 with an RBI and double. Pradere also improved to a .282 average.

The Rogues face the Marysville Gold Sox tomorrow night at 6:35pm at Harry and David Field before hitting the road for a 5-game roadtrip. Friday is Red, White and Blue Night and also the Medford Rogues Blood Drive. Fans that donate blood at the drive, will receive a free ticket to that night's game.
