McManus Named to 2016 CCM/USA Hockey All-American

Ralston, NE - Lancers forward Brannon McManus was one of 42 players named to the 2016 CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects game on Wednesday morning.

The All-American Prospects game is comprised of the best US-born players who will be eligible for the upcoming NHL Draft. 25 players who participated in the 2015 All-American Prospects game were chose in this summers' NHL Draft. Ten players were first round draft picks.

"This is a great honor and opportunity for Brannon," said Head Coach Brian Kaufman. "We are looking forward to having him back and seeing him continue to grow throughout the course of the season."

McManus finished the 2015-16 season third in scoring with 39 points (17g, 22a). The University of Minnesota commit recorded one assist while play for Team USA at the Ivan Hlinka Tournament this summer.

The game will be played Thursday, September 22 in Philadelphia, PA at the Wells Fargo Center, home of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers. Puck drop is set for 6:05 pm CT.
