SCOUTING THE RIVERKINGS: Mississippi has been struggling with call-ups and injuries lately, as Cullen Bradshaw (10 G, 21 A) is up in the ECHL right now and Dillan Fox (13, 16 A) has been placed on the 21-Day IR. They get a boost however, as Mike Moran (19 G) has returned from his ECHL loan. The RiverKings have two very solid goaltenders in Brad Barone (2.64 GAA, .916 SV%) and Peter Di Salvo (2.85 GAA, .905 SV%). Mississippi is the most discipline team in the SPHL, taking just 12.16 penalty minutes per game.
X-FACTOR - SPECIAL TEAMS: Against the RiverKings this season, Macon is 2-0-0 in games when they score a power play goal, and they were shutout on the man advantage in the one loss. Overall this season, when the Mayhems score a power play goal, they are 14-1-1. They have not scored on the PP in the last four games, as they have not scored on their last 11 power play chances. The Mayhem also have not allowed a power play goal in the last four games - killing off their last 11. Mississippi has dominated the Mayhem on the man advantage this season, converting on seven of their 15 PP chances.
A LOOK TO THE FUTURE: The Mayhem are at home the next two nights, as they take on the RiverKings again tomorrow at 7:35 PM and the Pensacola Ice Flyers on Sunday at 4:05 PM.
