Macon Mayhem News Release

MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced Friday morning that forward Collin MacDonald has been loaned to the Florida Everblades of the ECHL.

"This is a tremendous opportunity for Collin to go up to the ECHL and see what the league is all about," said Kerr. "He has been a huge part of our team early on this season, and he has earned this opportunity with his great work ethic and high-level play. We wish Collin all of the best, and we hope to see him back in Macon in the near future."

In his first professional season, MacDonald currently sits tied for fourth in the SPHL in points with 14, tied for fifth in the league in goals with six, and tied for sixth in the league in assists with eight. After posting just three points in his first six games, he has now recorded 11 points in the past seven games, including a streak where he posted two points in five consecutive games. Joseph will see his first action off the IR tonight as the Macon Mayhem will take on the Fayetteville FireAntz at home tonight, December 2nd at 7:35 PM. Single game tickets are on sale through the Macon Coliseum Box Office, and group tickets are available through the Macon Mayhem Front Office.
