Mayhem Finalize Opening Night Roster
October 19, 2017 - SPHL (SPHL) - Macon Mayhem News Release
MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced this afternoon the final roster for the 2017-2018 regular season.
The team set their roster to the league-mandated 19 players, including 10 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goaltenders. The team also signed forward Jamie Hill to a three-game tryout.
"This team obviously has a lot of experience, with a big bulk of players coming back from last year's championship team," said Kerr. "We have another very fast and very skilled team, and we were able to add some size without hurting our team speed. We believe we have another team that we can go deep in the playoffs with."
The team returns 13 players from last year's team, including six of the seven defensemen on the roster. Protected goaltender Troy Passingham has been loaned to the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL.
