Matthew Barry Named USHL Forward for Week 17

YOUNGSTOWN, OH - Matt Barry, College of the Holy Cross commit, is USHL Week 17's Forward of the week, after his eight point weekend.

In Friday's 5-3 loss to Muskegon, Barry assisted both Chase Gresock, and Michael Regush. Saturday's home game against the Dubuque Fighting Saints was a busy night for Barry, as he tallied five points. Outside of his own goal, and an assist to Thomson, Barry helped set up all three of Chase Gresock's goal including the overtime game winning goal. Barry continued tallying points on Sunday, notching himself the game winning goal against Dubuque.

Barry currently leads the Phantoms in scoring with 35 points (9G, 26A) through 35 games. The Naperville, IL native has recorded 13 points (3G, 10A) in his last 10 games.

The Phantoms faceoff against the Chicago Steel this weekend. Their next home game is Tuesday, February 13th vs the Central Illinois Flying Aces for $2 beer night. For tickets call 330-747-PUCK.
