Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC News Release
PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Riverhounds (1-2-2) play their third road game in two weeks, facing the Richmond Kickers (0-3-1) at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 22 at City Stadium.
GAME NOTES
The Hounds will look to continue their unbeaten play on the road, defeating Charleston (2-1) and drawing with Charlotte (1-1) in their first two road tilts of the season. Like those trips, the club will look to exorcise road demons this weekend, as Pittsburgh was swept in the head-to-head series last year and has not defeated Richmond away since May 23, 2015.
For the hosts, the Kickers have gotten off to a slow start, dropping three of their first four matches, including two straight at home. Richmond has scored only goal on the year so far, but also has conceded just three tallies on the defensive end.
