Marty Murray Loaned To Admirals

Milwaukee, WI--Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has reassigned forward Peter Olvecky from the Milwaukee Admirals to the Manitoba Moose and that forward Marty Murray has been loaned from the Moose to the Admirals.

Murray has posted 10 goals and 20 assists for 30 points in 59 games this season for Manitoba after tallying 54 points (15g-39a) in 76 games with the Manchester Monarchs in 2008-09. In his 14-year professional career the Lyleton, MB native has played 405 career AHL contests for 14 different teams and won a Calder Cup Championship with the Saint John Flames in 2001 after scoring 20 points (4g-16a) in 19 post-season games.

The Calgary Flames fourth round pick in 1993, Murray has totaled 31 goals and 42 assists in 261 career NHL contests for the Flames, Philadelphia Flyers, Carolina Hurricanes, and Los Angeles Kings.

Olvecky has 34 points on 11 goals and 23 assists to go along with 22 penalty minutes his season for the Admirals and also played one game with the Predators. The Trencin, Slovakia native has 149 points (60g-89a) in 300 career NHL games with the Admirals and Houston Aeros, and seven points (2g-5a) in 32 NHL contests with Nashville and the Minnesota Wild.
