Manitoba Moose Post-Game Report - Manitoba at Bakersfield - January 26

Goals:

- Bakersfield's Joshua Winquist passes it to the middle where Joey LaLeggia takes a quick shot that beats Eric Comrie at 5:21 of the first period.

- Following a turnover in the Moose end, Condors defenceman Brad Hunt fires on net and the puck is tipped in by Ryan Hamilton at 14:12 of the first period.

- The Moose respond quickly when Josh Morrissey takes a shot from the point which deflects off the Condors forward and goes right to an open Scott Kosmachuk who beats Laurent Brossoit at 15:15 of the first period.

- Ryan Hamilton grabs the rebound out front and dekes around Comrie scoring backhand for his second of the game :48 seconds into the second period.

- Nic Petan uses his speed to drive wide and shoot on the net. Before Brossoit can cover the puck Scott Kosmachuk drives the net and shoots it into the net at 5:29 of the second.

- The Condors work a three-on-two which ends with a give and go from Ryan Hamilton to Andrew Miller who beats Comrie in tight at 8:38 of the second.

- Ryan Pitlick grabs a loose puck in the Moose zone and goes in and beats Comrie with a wrist shot at 17:13 of the second period.

- Joshua Winquist tips in a Brad Hunt shot from the point that beats Moose goaltender Jussi Olkinuora at 4:46 of the third period.

- Nic Petan works the puck away from the Condors defender and sends it to Jan Kostalek at the point who blasts a slap shot past Brossoit at 6:12 of the third period.

Highlights/Notes:

- Nic Petan returned to the lineup after missing the last Moose game due to injury. He matched his own season high with three assists.

- Jan Kostalek recorded his first career AHL goal in the third period.

- Scott Kosmachuk had the second multi-goal game of his AHL career and first since Jan. 3, 2015. He has scored three goals in his last two games.

- Eric Comrie made 24 saves on 29 shots through the first two period. Jussi Olkinuora came in at the start of the third period and made 21 saves on 22 shots.

- The Moose are now 0-3-2-1 on their current road trip.

- The Moose trail the season series against the Condors 1-2-0-0 with one game to play against Bakersfield.

The Moose will have a rematch against the Bakersfield Condors this coming Friday, Jan. 29 at the Rabobank Arena at 9 p.m. CT.
