Majors Stay Close to Home Early in Draft

Mississauga St. Michael's Majors News Release


Mississauga, ON - The 2008 OHL Priority Selection is being held today at www.ontariohockeyleague.com. The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors possessed five picks in the first three rounds and none during the fourth and fifth rounds due to previous trades. They decided to move forward with local products for all of their early round picks.

Mississauga was able to snag three forwards, one goaltender and one defenceman through the first three rounds. All were born in 1992 and hail from the Greater Toronto Area.
