Machine Select Seven Players in 2018 MLL Draft

COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Ohio Machine have drafted seven players in the 2018 Major League Lacrosse Draft presented by Cascade. The picks are as follows:

ROUND OVERALL PICK POSITION PLAYER COLLEGE

1 9 Attack Justin Guterding Duke

2 15 Defense Bryce Young Maryland

3 22 Midfield Christian Mazzone Rutgers

4 31 Faceoff Kenny Massa Bryant

4 36 Midfield Carlson Milikin Notre Dame

5 45 Midfield Zach Bryant Robert Morris

6 54 Midfield Ryan Keenan Penn State

The seven players were added to the MLL collegiate inactive list, and will not count against a roster spot until dressed in an MLL game.

As the draft concludes, the Machine will now turn their attention to the 2018 season. After an opening week bye, Ohio will open up the season on April 29 against the New York Lizards at Fortress Obetz at 2 p.m. Representatives from Herff Jones, the official ring designer of Ohio Machine's 2017 championship ring, will present the Machine players with their rings in a special pre-game on-field celebration.
