MacDermid Rejoins Boston Bruins after Conditioning Stint in Providence

BOSTON, MA - Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, February 19, that Lane MacDermid will rejoin the Boston Bruins after conditioning in Providence. The forward joined the team today for their practice at Ristuccia Arena in Wilmington (190 Main St., Wilmington, MA).

MacDermid has skated in three games for Boston this season with 10 penalty minutes and averaging 3:34 of ice time. The forward has four goals, two assists and 82 penalty minutes in 37 games with Providence this year.

MacDermid, a 6'3", 205-pound forward from Hartford, CT, was drafted by Boston in the fourth round (112th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He was signed by Boston to a one-year contract on July 11, 2012.
