New Orleans VooDoo News Release

New Orleans VooDoo FB James Lynch was named to the Arena Football League's 2007 All-Rookie team, it was announced by the league today.

Lynch, (5-11, 276, Maryland) completed his first AFL season after spending parts of the 2003 and 2004 seasons in the NFL. Lynch was a steady contributor at the fullback position both in the running and passing game as well as in pass protection.

Lynch appeared in 13 games with 12 starts and rushed 26 times for 47 yards with five touchdowns. He led all AFL rookie fullbacks with five scores, proving to be a solid short yardage option.
