Rewind:
Saturday, Monsters 2 vs. Pirates 1

Blue Bennefield and Kevin Estrada scored first period goals for Lowell, and the Monsters never looked back. They finished the year 2-2-0-1 against the Pirates in Portland this season, with the final meeting of the series coming this week.
Sunday, Wolf Pack 3 vs. Monsters 2, OT

Scott Kelman and David Gove both scored in regulation for Lowell, while Tyler Weiman turned aside 33 shots in the loss. Despite the overtime defeat, Lowell claimed the season series with the Wolf Pack, holding a 4-2-2-0 record.
Where we stand
The Monsters took three out of four points on the weekend to improve to 28-35-6-7, with 69 points on the season. The Springfield Falcons trail Lowell by four points in the Atlantic Division standings.
