FIRST ONE TO 60 WINS... The Fire will leave for Albany tonight for a divisional show down with the Conquest. The Fire defeated Albany 62-55 on May 27 in Freedom Hall. The Fire is 2-1 all-time against the Conquest, including a 62-56 victory in Albany last year. In the three games the teams have played seven has been the largest margin of victory and the teams have combined to score 351 points. The winning team has scored at least 60 points in all three games. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 and can be heard on 1080-AM WKJK with Paul Wilman.

RIPTIDE COMING TO TOWN... Following a league wide bye on Fourth of July weekend the Fire will return to Freedom Hall for their first of three July home games on July 9. The Fire will take on the San Diego Riptide and we will be giving away 1,000 Fire Footballs. The game will be highlighted by the Hunter's For the Hungry Wild Game Cook-off, starting at 2:00 the day of the game. Fans can pay $10 to sample everything being cooked and that includes a ticket to the game that night.

MASSAGE TIME... Fire season ticket holders can get $10 off a one hour massage at A Healing Touch, located at 5135 Dixie Highway, with a ticket stub from a 2005 game. MORE RECORDS FALL... The Fire broke four more team records on Saturday night. Offensive specialist Rob Mager broke the team record for receptions in a game with 16. Matt Sauk set the record for passing yards in a game with 396 and total yards in a game with 397. The Fire also set the team record for most yards in a game with 405.

TURN OLD INTO GOLD... The Fire has teamed up with Special Olympics Kentucky to turn your old cell phones into gold for area Special Olympics athletes. Donate your old cell phone at the Fire Will Call office on game night and receive one free admission ticket per phone. PLAYOFFS TAKING SHAPE... With just six games left in the 2005 regular season the Fire currently sits in the fourth spot in the American Conference for the playoffs. Manchester and Florida have both clinched spots while Green Bay is third. If the season ended today the Fire would visit Wilkes-Barre for a first round playoff game. Below is the current playoff update for the National and American Conferences:
