Louisville City FC Releases Preseason Schedule

LOUISVILLE, Ky - Coming off their historic inaugural season, Louisville City FC has announced it's 2016 preseason fixtures, which will feature local colleges and a NASL opponent. LouCity will face Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before visiting University of Louisville and University of Kentucky. Louisville City will face Indy Eleven at a neutral site in a rematch of last year's third round U.S. Open Cup fixture.

After wrapping-up a two week training session at the world-class IMG Academy, Louisville City will return to prepare for a Mario Sanchez-led SIUE. LouCity will host SIUE at the Louisville City FC Training Ground on March 5. The match will be closed to the public, but fans will be able to follow the match live on social media.

The next two matches will see LouCity take on the University of Louisville on March 10 before traveling to the University of Kentucky on March 16. Kickoff times for both matches are yet to be announced, so fans are encouraged to follow Louisville City on social for details and ticket information.

The Club will complete preseason play on March 19, at a neutral site, to face the NASL's Indy Eleven. The two clubs met in the preseason last year and in the U.S. Open Cup - with Louisville City winning both times.

Louisville City FC will begin regular season play the following week. The complete 2016 USL schedule is set to release this week.
