Loons Introduce New Interactive Smartphone App

MIDLAND, Mich. -The Great Lakes Loons are pleased to announce the launch of the all-new, interactive Great Lakes Loons Boomaphone App. The app is free to download and is available now in the Apple and Android app stores.

The Great Lakes Loons Boomaphone App allows fans to customize their experience at Loons home games, compete in contests to win prizes and offers, and interact through the Loons social media platforms.

"We are very excited to introduce the Loons new Boomaphone App to our fans," said Chris Mundhenk, Loons Vice President of Marketing and Entertainment. "We've married technology and the in-game entertainment at Loons home games to provide fans their own interactive remote control for the game day experience.

Interactive features include:

- Sending song requests to be played during home games

- Sending Tweets to Dow Diamond's video board

- Posting photos to the Loons Twitter account

- Voting for in between-inning contests and trivia

- Signing up for fan promotions and contests

- Receiving team and sponsor coupons and offers

The Boomaphone App also gives fans access to team news, schedules & standings, player stats, promotions, ballpark maps, a digital version of the LoonsNest program and the ability to purchase tickets to upcoming games.

Boomaphone is the first sports app that gives fans control of their game day experience. Boomaphone is a joint venture from the imagination of Brandiose, Launch DM and MobileKNOT.
