Lookouts Bounce Back with Victory over Smokies

The Chattanooga Lookouts bounced back from their loss to the Tennessee Smokies on Thursday night with a 6-1 Friday night victory. Tennessee scored their lone run of the game in the top of the second inning when Jason Vosler scored from third base on a wild pitch from Lookouts starting pitcher, Randy LeBlanc.Chattanooga would answer in the bottom of the second inning as they were able to manufacture a run on a wild pitch from Smokies starting pitcher, Trevor Clifton .
Chattanooga extended their lead 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning when Andy Wilkins launched a two-run homer over the right field wall. Chattanoogacontinued to swing hot bats in the fifth inning as they were able to plate two more insurance runs. In the bottom of the fifth inning, with Alex Perez on first base, Edgar Corcino hammered a two-run shot over the right field wall, giving the Lookouts a 5-1 lead.
Leblanc provided the Lookouts with the quality start that they needed, as he pitched 6.0 innings, allowing three hits, one run, and one earned run. LeBlance issued just one walk, and struck out four. With two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning, and T.J. White on second base, Travis Harrison roped an RBI line drive single to center field, allowing White to score from second base on the hit. Harrison's RBI single gave the Lookouts a 6-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth inning, which proved to be the game's final score.
RHP, Randy Rosario, who has been lights out for the Lookouts all season, entered the game in the seventh inning in relief of LeBlanc. Rosario tossed 2.0 innings and did not all a run. Rosario allowed just one hit in his 2.0 innings pitched, and struck out 2.
The hard throwing Paul Clemens, closed things out for the Lookouts in the bottom of the ninth, as he replaced Rosario. Clemens attacked the Tennessee hitters right off the bat as he sat the Smokies down in order. Clemens began the inning by inducing a David Bote lineout to right field. Clemens would then strike outTennessee cleanup hitter, Jason Vosler to record the second out of the inning. Clemens recorded the third and final out of the game when he jammed Yasiel Balaguert with a fastball on the inner half of the plate, which resulted in a pop out to Lookouts shortstop Ryan Walker to end the game.
