Spokane Chiefs News Release

SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Chiefs announced today that 1999-born forward Logan Foster has signed a Standard Player Agreement and committed to playing in the Western Hockey League. He was the Chiefs' Seventh Round (146th Overall) selection in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft.

"We are thrilled to add another valuable player to our organization in Logan Foster," said Chiefs' General Manager Tim Speltz. "Logan has continued to develop as we hoped he would when we drafted him in 2014. He has earned an opportunity to compete for a spot on this year's roster and we are excited to have him."

Last season, with the Tisdale Trojans of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League, Foster punched in 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points in 42 games. He added three goals and three assists in six playoff games.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound forward from Kamsack, Saskatchewan, also competed for his province at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, pitching in two assists in seven games.
