Lindsey Willhite Named Wolves Director of Public Relations

The Chicago Wolves have named LINDSEY WILLHITE as the team's director of public relations.

WILLHITE spent the previous 22 years as a Daily Herald sports writer, where he covered everything from high school sports to the pros. The 43-year-old focused on college football and basketball, but also helped with the paper's coverage of the Chicago Bears, the 2005 World Series champion Chicago White Sox and the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks. The Champaign native graduated from Illinois State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Finance.

The Wolves open their 18th season at 7 p.m. on Saturday when they battle the San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center. The club holds its home opener, presented by LifeSource, at 7 p.m., Sat., Oct. 15, against the Milwaukee Admirals at Allstate Arena.
