(LONDON, Ontario) - Wednesday night at Budweiser Gardens, the London Lightning beat the Orangeville A's 127-112 in Game 2 of their first round playoff series.

The Lightning leads the series 2-0.

Nick Okorie had 29 points while Garrett Williamson had 28 points and nine rebounds in the win.

Akeem Scott (20 points, 10 assists) and Akeem Wright (16 points, 11 rebounds) both had double-doubles. Stephen Maxwell scored nine rebounds as well.

Okorie scored 14 points in the fourth to lead the Lightning to victory.

"We were only a little bit off our game plan in the first half. The foundation of our game plan, which is attacking and drawing fouls, was perfect," said coach Kyle Julius. "In the second half it paid dividends.

Those guys were in foul trouble, we got to run our offense and move it around, they had to go small, and we got to play our game."

The Lightning next face the Orangeville A's on Friday, May 6 at the Athlete Institute in Orangeville where they will look to complete the series.
