London Lightning News Release
(LONDON, Ontario) - Friday night at the Athlete Institute, the London Lightning fell to the Orangeville A's 134-119.
London's record is now 23-14.
Akeem Scott provided much of the team's offense with 22 points. Stephen Maxwell finished with 20 points and nine rebounds.
"We just got outplayed, they made a lot of shots. We didn't. We had poor energy, they had good energy," said coach Kyle Julius. "For me, it's about progress and about getting better, and tonight we didn't do that."
Despite the loss, the Lightning clinched the Central Division title.
A Windsor Express loss to the Saint John Mill Rats earlier Friday night means the Lightning receive home court advantage through the first two rounds of the playoffs.
