SUMMER SERIES: Tonight's game is the first meeting of a two-game season series between New York and Tulsa ... This is the Liberty's first and lone visit to the BOK Center ... New York is looking to snap a five game losing streak when playing the role of visitor to the Shock.

LAST TIME AROUND: On September 10, 2009, the Liberty dropped an 87-94 overtime match-up versus the Shock at The Palace ... Essence Carson netted a career-high 28 points in the game ... The Shock won the season series 2-1.

DONOVAN ON PACE: With a win tonight, it would be the 150th career victory for head coach Anne Donovan in her 10th WNBA season ... With 149 career wins, she is currently ranked No. 5 on the league's all-time coaching leaders list ... There is only one active head coach ahead of Donovan, the Connecticut Sun's Mike Thibault (151-99).

TAJ REIGNS: On Tuesday versus the Lynx, Taj McWilliams-Franklin collected her 2,500th career rebound ... McWilliams-Franklin is ranked as the WNBA's No. 1 leader in rebounds amongst active players ... She is ranked as the No. 2 all-time rebounding leader behind Lisa Leslie (3,307).

ANOTHER CHAMP IN THE MIX: The Liberty acquired forward Plenette Pierson from the Tulsa Shock in exchange for forward Tiffany Jackson on June 14 ... Pierson is a two-time WNBA Champion, having won the title with Detroit in 2006 and 2008 and prior to her arrival in New York owned a career average of 8.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg and 1.2 apg through 204 career games ... In her Liberty debut, she went 5-for-7 from the field for 10 points, with three assists and one rebound.
