Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (23-18) play Game 3 of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Park against the fourth-place Toledo Mud Hens (17-23), who the Pigs just swept in three games at Fifth Third Field from May 13-15... With a 4-3 walk-off win last night, the Pigs have tied their season high with a four-game winning streak and have prevailed in eight of their last nine contests. In addition, they've improved to 4-1 on this seven-game homestand... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have lost three straight games and eight of their last nine against the Pigs going back to last season. In addition, the Hens have dumped seven of their last eight affairs after an 8-4 stretch to start May.
RHP Mark Appel (3-2, 3.58) will start for LHV against LHP Daniel Norris (0-4, 8.06).
