Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (32-32) play Game 3 of a four-game series against the West's first-place Indianapolis Indians (36-27) at Coca-Cola Park... With a 4-2 loss yesterday, the Pigs snapped their four-game winning streak over Indianapolis dating back to May 3, 2013. Lehigh Valley has now dropped seven of its last 10 contests and has fallen to 2-4 on this eight-game, West Division homestand... Indianapolis -- Pittsburgh's top affiliate -- snapped a three-game losing streak and improved to 2-4 on this eight-game, North Division road trip. Still, the Indians have dumped six of their last nine affairs since a four-game winning streak put their record at a season-high 12 games above .500 on May 30 (33-21).
LHP Greg Smith (4-4, 4.01) will start for LHV against RHP Jay Jackson (3-1, 4.95).
Tonight is Cesar Hernandez Bobblehead Giveaway Night, presented by Coca-Cola... First-Pitch is at 7:05 p.m.
