Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release
The IronPigs (18-13) play the finale of a three-game series against the Rochester Red Wings (14-13) at Coca Cola Park... With a 4-1 win last night, the Pigs have set a new season high with a four-game winning streak and have tied the Buffalo Bisons for first place in the North Division. In addition, they have set a new high-water mark of five games above .500. Lehigh Valley has posted a 15-7 record since starting at 3-6 on April 14... The Red Wings -- Minnesota's top affiliate -- have now dropped four of their last five games and have lost their first series in their last five tries... The Pigs are now undefeated in their last eight series with the Wings, going 6-0-2 after being swept by Rochester in the final set of 2015 (3-0)... With a win tonight, the Pigs will have their first, five-game winning streak of the season and since July 23-27, 2016.
RHP Aaron Nola (2-0, 4.50 in MLB) will start for LHV in a rehab appearance against LHP David Hurlbut (2-2, 1.61). Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is the exclusive sponsor of all Major League rehabilitation appearances at Coca-Cola Park.
