Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Ted Lilly is scheduled to start for the Isotopes this Wednesday, April 10 to continue a Major League rehabilitation assignment. Albuquerque hosts the Omaha Storm Chasers with a 6:35 PM start at Isotopes Park on Wednesday.
The southpaw was placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to March 28, as he recovers from left shoulder labrum surgery. This will be Lilly's second rehab appearance after starting for Class-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday, April 5. Lilly surrendered five runs on nine hits, including three home runs, over six innings for the Quakes. He struck out four and threw 77 pitches.
The California native was drafted by the Dodgers in the 23rd round of the 1996 First-Year Player Draft. Lilly holds a career 130-111 record with a 4.13 ERA (900 ER/1959.2IP) over 14 seasons in the Majors with six teams. In three seasons with the Dodgers, the 37-year-old hurler is 24-19 with a 3.74 ERA over 318.0 IP, all as a starter. Media availability will be announced upon Lilly's arrival.
