Legends Celebrate Zero Waste Night with Quest Resource Management Group
April 3, 2013 - NBA G League (G League)
Texas Legends News Release
FRISCO -This Saturday night the Legends partner with Quest Resource Management Group (www.QuestRMG.com) in an effort to make the game a "Zero Waste" game. Recycling events and challenges will take place throughout the game, and following the game all garbage will be recycled to make it a true "zero waste" night at Dr Pepper Arena.
"Thanks to Donnie Nelson and the Texas Legends for allowing us this opportunity to work with them," commented Quest CEO Brian Dick. "Recycling is a passion of ours at Quest, and our goal is to make this night with the Legends the standard for all future 'green initiatives' in all sports leagues. We hope that many sports venues will see this initiative and begin to look at a true zero-waste mentality for all of their events."
The Legends will wear customized green jerseys celebrating "Zero Waste Night", uniquely branded with both the Legends logo, the Quest logo, and the NBA's recycling logo. As part of the festivities of the night, select individuals from Quest will be recognized as Legends of the Night, Quest t-shirts will be given away to early arriving fans, and there will be a zero-waste tailgate from 5-7 pm in front of Dr Pepper Arena.
The Legends face the Brooklyn Nets affiliate at 7 pm on April 6. The game will be broadcast on TXA21.
