Las Vegas, NV - Friday the 13 th wasn't unlucky for the Legends as they beat the San Diego Sockers their conference rivals in matchup for only bragging rights. With both teams already in the playoffs and both starting keepers on rest, we were treated to a great match at the Orleans Arena.

In front of a colorful crowd that included many San Diego fans the Legends showed some of the best chemistry that they've had all season. Sockers started hot with the only two goals in the first quarter. Ivan Simental responded with the first two of the second quarter, and then we had a game. Back and forth possessions, fouls and goals led to a 5-5 score at the end of the third quarter. Las Vegas sealed the win, scoring the only three goals in the fourth quarter, one on power play, one in shootout and one versus the 6 th attacker.

"We are happy to continue the good momentum that we have but it's just another regular season win." Said Cohen "We need to continue to work very hard and be ready to play our best soccer in March when it all matters."
