“He is a great athlete,” said Law head coach Scot Maynard. “From his work on special teams with the Aggies he is a very good tackler. Bobby is going to be a very versatile player for the Law.”

The Brenham, Texas native played his first two years of college football for Blinn Junior College in Blinn, Texas. Jordan was selected as an All- Southwest Junior College selection at safety in 1998.

He capped a stellar career at Brenham High School in 1996 by being selected to the South Texas All-Star team.

CedenoÂ’s first two collegiate years from 1999-2000 were spent as a defensive lineman at Navarro Junior College in Corsicana, Texas. He started both years and was an All-Southwest Junior College and All-Region selection in 2000.

He played his final year of college football in 2001 at Northeastern Oklahoma, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma an NCAA Division II School.

“Jason qualifies as an international player for the Law,” said Maynard. “Each team is allowed to carry two international players that don’t count against their roster.”

Cedeno was acquired by Laredo in a trade with the Peoria Pirates.

“I feel it is an opportunity that I have been working towards,” said Cedeno. “I am grateful for the chance to play pro ball. I am excited about the arena game and the fact that the three man fronts guarantee one- on-one blocking which will give me a chance to show my pass rushing skills.”

Cedeno, who remains a citizen of Trinidad, is married to his wife Joy and they have a four year old daughter Rebecca.
