Lancers Release 2016-17 Preseason Roster

Omaha Lancers News Release
Ralston, NE - The Omaha Lancers released their preseason roster on Friday, inviting 29 players to training camp for the 2016-17 season. The roster includes 17 forwards, ten defensemen, and two goaltenders.
Seven players return from last year including forward Brannon McManus who finished 2015-16 campaign third in scoring with 39 points (17 g, 22a). Headlining the newcomers are 16-year-olds Emilio Pettersen and Jack Randl.
In net the Lancers will have a new face as newcomers Jacob Acton and Peter Thome will battle for playing time. Thome spent last season with the Aberdeen Wings (NAHL) while Acton played for Albany Academy Prep School in Massachusetts.
Out of the 29 players on the roster 18 have committed to Division I institutions. The Lancers will have players from five different countries (USA, Canada, Sweden, Latvia, Norway), and nine different US states.

Goaltenders: Jacob Acton, Peter Thome
