Lancers Make Deal with Aces

Omaha Lancers News Release
RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers made a trade deal with the Central Illinois Flying Aces on Friday morning. The deal comes on the same day that the two teams will face off for the first time this season.
Omaha traded Forward, Steven Agriogianis (99), Affiliate Defenseman, John Driscoll (01) and a 2018 Phase 2 1st Round Draft pick. Agriogianis played 8 games for the Lancers and totaled 1 assist. Omaha picked up Agriogianis in a trade with the Cedar Rapids Roughriders in December. Driscoll was drafted round 2 #20 overall by the Lancers in the 2017 USHL Futures Draft.
Central Illinois traded Forward, Michael Maloney (98), Affiliate Forward, Rhett Pitlick (01) and a 2018 Phase 2 4th Round Draft pick. Maloney, who started the season with the Tri-City Storm, has played in 34 USHL games this year and has totaled 10 points. The McHenry, Illinois native is committed to play college hockey at Brown University. Pitlick currently plays at Chaska High school where he has totaled 31 points on the season. The Chaska, Minnesota native, was drafted 7th round 102nd overall by the Flying Aces in the 2017 Futures Draft. Pitlick is committed to play college hockey in his home state at the University of Minnesota.
