Notes:

- The LA Galaxy closed the 2017 preseason with a 2-1 loss to the Portland Timbers at StubHub Center on Saturday, Feb. 25.

- Daniel Steres scored on an assist from Dave Romney and Romain Alessandrini in the 81st minute, Steres' first goal of the LA Galaxy preseason.

- LA Galaxy Head Coach Curt Onalfo trotted out a starting lineup that featured nine returning players from the 2016 LA Galaxy roster.

- Newly signed Designated Player Romain Alessandrini played in his first game at StubHub Center Saturday night, playing 45 minutes and recording an assist after featuring in a midweek closed-door scrimmage win over Real Salt Lake.

- Jo=E3o Pedro started with Jermaine Jones in central midfield, also playing his first match at StubHub Center.

- Brian Rowe, Daniel Steres, Dave Romney, Rafael Garcia, Jo=E3o Pedro, Jermaine Jones, and Giovani dos Santos all played 90 minutes in the match.

- LA Galaxy will host the Portland Timbers again on Sunday, March 12 (4 p.m. PT, FOX Sports 1) in the Galaxy's second straight home game to start the 2017 MLS Regular Season.

- With the 2017 preseason finished, LA Galaxy Head Coach Curt Onalfo is set for his first match in charge of the LA Galaxy.

- In three seasons as Head Coach of LA Galaxy II in USL, Onalfo led the Galaxy to three-consecutive postseason berths (2014, 2015, 2016) while winning the USL Western Conference in 2015

- During his 86 games over three seasons with LA Galaxy II, Los Dos scored 145 goals and earned +34 goal differential.

- The LA Galaxy will open the 2017 MLS Regular Season at StubHub Center on Saturday, March 4, at 1 p.m. PT against FC Dallas.

- LA Galaxy drew 0-0 with FC Dallas in the Galaxy's 2016 Regular Season finale at StubHub Center on Oct. 23. The draw earned FC Dallas the 2016 MLS Supporters' Shield.

- LA Galaxy will host their annual Season Ticket Member Rally on Sunday, Feb. 26 at StubHub Center. The event will introduce the LA Galaxy's 2017 Roster while allowing fans the chance to interact with the club's players and staff.
